Bottle Cages & Hydration

Bottle cages come down to weight versus grip. Carbon fibre saves a few grams and looks the part; aluminium alloy costs less and takes more abuse. If you ride rough ground, retention matters more than weight — a cage that lets a bottle bounce out on a gravel descent is no bargain. Most frames use the standard two-bolt 64mm mount.
